The Woodstock Terry Fox Run has raised $602,191.92 since 1980, and the date has been set for the 2024 event.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Terry Fox Run has surpassed another milestone.
About 160 people participated in the run in Southside Park this past September, which raised $30,389.
This means the annual fundraiser has brought in $602,191.92 since 1980, surpassing the $600,000 mark. All of the money has been donated to the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.
The Woodstock fundraiser surpassed the $500,000 milestone in 2020, after surpassing the $400,000 mark in 2017.
The date has already been set for this year's run, which will return to Southside Park on Sunday September 15th, 2024. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the run will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
