WOODSTOCK - Woodstock residents enrolled in the Fee Assistance in Recreation program (FAIR) will be able to save 50 percent on a monthly transit pass.
City Council signed off on the transit subsidy during yesterday's Council meeting, so it will take effect as of June 1st.
FAIR is for low-income families and it allows them to participate in recreation and leisure activities in the Friendly City. You can find more details regarding the qualification requirements and how to apply online here.
Transit passes can be purchased at the Cowan Park Sportsplex, the Southside Aquatic Centre, and the Reeves Community Complex.
