Woodstock Cannabis officially opened it's doors to the public last week in Downtown Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Cannabis is the first legal marijuana retail store to open it's doors in the Friendly City.
It is located at 579 Dundas Street and they sell all cannabis products, CBD oils, topicals and edibles. They are regulated by the AGCO and they have been in the que, waiting for the green light to open since May.
The store is a family run business and managed by Britney Guerra and her brother in law Jeremy Guerra. Britney actually has a lot of experience with marijuana shops. She was raided by the police before weed was legal and ran Cannabis Culture in Hamilton. Britney has long been a huge advocate for the legalization of marijuana.
When you walk into the store, you will notice a Woodstock Festival theme based on the infamous outdoor concert in 1969. The artwork was done by graffiti artist Scott McDonald.
Already the response from the public as been great, with orders coming in nonstop. They even offer "HERBSIDE" pickup. You can find more information on their web site www.woodstockcannabisco.ca.
