MITCHELL - A break and enter investigation in Perth County has resulted in charges laid against a 43-year-old Woodstock man.
He's facing seven counts of break and enter in addition to one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft over $5,000, and one count of motor vehicle theft.
Perth OPP officers were called out to a storage facility in Mitchell on Sunday, after hearing about several break and enters that took place earlier in the day. They charged the Woodstonian after further investigation, but he has yet to be officially arrested in his case. Police say he was already in custody for separate charges, and will be charged in this investigation prior to his release.
The OPP has also identified a second suspect in this case and has issued a warrant for their arrest. No further details have been released at this time.
