Serious but non-life threatening injuries have been reported after someone was stabbed during a theft-related altercation early Tuesday morning.
WOODSTOCK - A 34-year-old from Woodstock is facing a list of charges after a stabbing in his hometown.
It happened in the area of Wilson Street and Peel Street shortly after 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 22nd. Police say it was a theft-related altercation and the victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Anthony Robert Armstrong has been charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He's also facing one count of theft under $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with probation. He remains in police custody at this time.
