The Elgin OPP charged a Woodstock man with impaired driving on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
CHATHAM-KENT - A Woodstonian has been busted for impaired driving in Chatham-Kent.
OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint from a good samaritan Monday afternoon. They found the vehicle on the westbound Highway 401, close to Howard Road and a 42-year-old Woodstock man was behind the wheel.
He has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. He's also facing a 90-day licence suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for a week.
The OPP would like to thank the good samaritan who filed the traffic complaint.
