One person has died and three others were taken to hospital after a crash on Beachville Road.
BEACHVILLE - A 21-year-old from Woodstock has died after a crash on Beachville Road.
Police say a sedan and an SUV collided somewhere between East Hill Line and George Street Saturday morning. The call came in shortly before 10:00 a.m. and the Woodstonian was driving the sedan at the time, while the driver of the SUV and two passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
In a video posted on the OPP West Region X page, Constable Andrew Gamble encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
"If you happened to be travelling on Beachville Road and witness this collision or have dash cam footage that captured it, we are asking you to contact Oxford OPP at 1-800-310-1122 or report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers to 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)."
The crash site was closed for several hours, but was reopened by 5:10 p.m..
No further details have been released.
