Nathan Friend will be honoured during the Woodstock City Council meeting this Thursday.
WOODSTOCK - The winner of the Sister Cities Logo Design Competition is going to be honoured by Woodstock City Council.
Nathan Friend is from the Friendly City, and his design was the most popular among the four finalists that were shared on social media in late April.
His logo will be displayed in Council Chambers this Thursday, and Friend will also receive his $500 prize. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. and you'll be able to livestream it on the City of Woodstock YouTube page.
The Woodstock Sister Cities Committee partnered up with the Sylvania Sister City Commission for the contest, in hopes of finding the perfect logo to represent the close relationship between Woodstock, Ontario, and Sylvania, Ohio. The contest was open to residents of both cities.
