It was all business and well-received conversations as the WOWC talked with Ministries at Queen's Park in Toronto
TORONTO - The Western Ontario Wardens' Caucus had a productive visit to Queen's Park.
During the conference, the caucus met with the Minister of Rural Affairs and the Acting Minister of Infrastructure to talk about funding for growing housing needs in rural and small urban communities.
They had a discussion with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing regarding the homelessness prevention program.
The Associate Minister of Energy-Intensive Industries was also on hand to discuss advancing regional transit solutions for rural and small urban communities across Western Ontario.
Chair of the Caucus, Oxford County Warden, Marcus Ryan, was pleased with the time they had spent talking with different ministries about issues in Western Ontario.
