Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life to host Wreck the Dress Fundraiser for Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
BRIGHT - Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life is inviting you to Wreck the Dress for a great cause.
CEO Cheryl Haskett says you'll be able to dress up in your old wedding dress, prom dress or any other special occasion and play with the animals on Saturday September 10th.
"With the help of some of our farm animals and various farm activities, they will get the chance to make it muddy and dirty. Think about miniature goats jumping all over your gown and all of that will happen with photographers."
It costs $200 to sign up and you'll walk away with 15 professional photos and lots of fun memories. Haskett says all of the money will be going to Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
"They have a new program that I am really excited that I'm working with them on, which is called the Moving Forward Scholarship Fund. It allows women who have experienced domestic abuse to access grants for schooling."
They have four different two-hour time slots to choose from, with the day starting at 9:30 a.m. and going until 6:30 p.m.
Haskett says up to 50 women will be able to sign up for each time slot. The deadline is August 27th or when the spots fill up.
