Norwich Township has plenty to look forward to in 2018.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - 2017 was a year for development in Norwich Township.
Mayor Larry Martin says it was a great year to build.
"We have had lot's of development, our building permits and development from a year ago each month has been up triple to what it was a year before in that same month. We have more industrial development in the drawing stage at this point in time and their is another new high end development happening in the Southern end of the Township."
Martin says he is looking forward to the grand opening of the brand new Fire Hall in Burgessville in 2018.
"Well we originally wanted to have the Burgessville Fire Hall up this year, we thought we would at least have it up and running but that is going to be a next year project now. We will also spend the year looking after bridges and roads in 2018. The big item their will be the bridge on the Middle Town Line."
A personal high for Martin happened at the end of the year when he was elected as the Deputy Warden for Oxford County in 2018.
