ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Zorra Township is still looking for local residents to sit on a couple of committees including the Zorra Community Policing Committee.
They have three spots that need to be filled before the first meeting of the New Year happening later this month. The mandate of the Zorra Community Policing Committee is to advise on all aspects of the provision of police related matters in the Township of Zorra and to promote and maintain communication with the public.
The Committee is made up of four to eight Zorra residents, one member of Council, and a representative from the Township along with he Director of Corporate Services Department.
The North Embro Cemetery Board is also seeking one additional Board member and Zorra Township still needs one new board member for the Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation.
