ONTARIO - There are 124 cases of COVID-19 in Ontario today.
The provincial total stands at 39,333 following today's report. 5,893 of the cases are reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes.
Two new deaths were reported today with 35,237 resolved cases. As a result, the death toll across the province is at 2,777. 1,797 of the deaths were reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes and eight of the deaths were reported to be from healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
2,205,254 tests have been completed so far and there are 26,984 currently under investigation.
73 patients are hospitalized with the virus and 27 patients are in ICU. There are also 12 patients in ICU on a ventilator.
