Police say the teen hit a parked car late Thursday night and then drove all the way to Putnam before abandoning the vehicle.
WOODSTOCK - A 14 year old from Woodstock has been arrested after a hit and run collision.
Police say the teen collided with a parked car and then drove away from the scene last Thursday night around 11. Officers searched for the vehicle and the OPP found it abandoned in Putnam.
After investigating police arrested the 14 year old from Woodstock and charged them with take a motor vehicle without consent, fail to remain and drive a motor vehicle without a licence.
The identity of the accused will not be released by police as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
