The Recreation And Leisure Fair will be inside the Cowan Sportsplex tomorrow going from 2:00 to 4:30 pm.
WOODSTOCK - The 16th Annual Recreation And Leisure Fair is happening tomorrow in Woodstock.
There will be over 30 vendors on hand, along with a variety of activities.
Chair of the Woodstock Recreation Advisory Committee Todd Materick says it's a great way to learn about the community.
"This is always something for everybody. Anybody from a small child to a active senior, always enjoy coming out. Again, it's free so it's great that way. You just kind of take your time, talk to everybody. There's people from last year that came from Ottawa to Woodstock and they were pretty impressed with different tables that were represented, to be a part of different organizations."
In addition to being free, the event will feature different sports, leisure and recreational activities, along with door prizes.
Materick says the event serves as an opportunity to meet some new people.
"The City of Woodstock Recreation Department will be there showing some new, exciting stuff with the trail systems that we have coming up this summer, which is super exciting."
He adds there will also be some new parks with some new basketball courts, plus it gives people an opportunity to think about things they maybe want to see there next year.
If you're interested, you can click here to register as a vendor for the event.
It'll be inside the Cowan Sportsplex from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
