
A search warrant was executed by the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit, along with the West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit.
INGERSOLL - A 51-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman of London are facing charges.
This comes after a search warrant was executed yesterday shortly after 1 pm, at a residence on Thames Street North in Ingersoll as part of a drug trafficking investigation. During the search warrant, one person was located inside a vehicle on the property. The vehicle was seized following the discovery of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy), hydromorphone, and drug-related paraphernalia.
Later that afternoon, just before 3:30 pm, another search warrant was conducted at a Dundas Street address in London. Another individual was charged after the seizure of Canadian currency and drug-related paraphernalia.
The 51-year-old has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin) - two counts, Fail to comply with Probation Order, and Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The 41-year-old was charged with Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin) - two counts, Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
