Four local businesses have been awarded a $3,000 grant to go towards development of new tourism products.
OXFORD COUNTY - The 2023 Tourism Innovation Grant recipients have officially been announced.
Tourism Oxford, Community Futures Oxford and Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation awarded four local businesses a $3,000 grant to go towards development of new tourism products.
Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese, who also received the Norwich Large Business of the Year award last week, says they plan to use the grant to extend visitors' stays with new interpretive displays...and a new event space.
Other business getting the grant include:
- Terra Nova Nordic Spa: To create a new greenhouse treatment experience
- Berrylicious Fruit Farm: To expand picnic program offerings
- Sixthirtynine: To enhance the Chef’s Table experience
There were nine businesses nominated, all of which were evaluated on creativity, innovation, feasibility, economic and community impact, as well as equity and inclusion.
