A Woodstock based personal trainer is planning a 24 hour workout fundraiser for Wellkin.
WOODSTOCK - A local personal trainer is looking to raise money and awareness for the Wellkin child and youth wellness centre.
Shawn Jackson, the owner of Jackson Wellness, will be holding a 24 hour workout fundraiser in Woodstock next weekend, starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
"All of my current clients will be taking place in it. They are going to pick their time slots first and then after that it will be open to the public and anybody else who wants to be involved. They're able to come and do a workout with me."
Jackson says each workout will be geared towards the participant.
"The way I am going to put it together is depending on who is in each time slot. There will be basically all around training; some cardio, circuit training, heavy lifting and stuff like that."
There's no registration fee but all participants will be asked to donate to Wellkin. People at home will be able to donate to the cause using a link on the Jackson Wellness Facebook page.
Anyone interested in signing up can contact Jackson by calling 519-608-7998.
