The total number of cases increases to 31,992 in Ontario with nine deaths being reported today and 26,538 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province is reporting 266 new cases of COVID-19 today.
The overall number of cases in Ontario now sits at 31,992. It's a 0.8 % increase from yesterday's numbers after 182 cases were reported.
Nine deaths were also reported today, increasing the death toll to 2,507 with 26,538 resolved cases.
5,327 of the cases involve residents in long-term care homes while 1,610 of the deaths are reported for residents in long-term care homes. Only five of those deaths involve health care workers in long-term care homes.
980,471 cases have been tested and 26,158 are still under investigation.
489 patients are in hospital with COVID-19, 110 people are in hospital in ICU and 68 of them are currently in ICU on a ventilator.
