The province's total number of cases climbs to 40,194 after 33 cases of COVID-19 were reported today. There were no deaths reported and there are 36,456 cases resolved.
ONTARIO - There are 33 cases of COVID-19 reported in Ontario today.
As a result, the number of cases overall across the province is at 40,194. 5,902 of the cases were reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes and 2,608 are reported to be from a health care worker associated with long-term care outbreaks.
There were no deaths reported today so the death toll in Ontario remains at 2,786, while there are 36,456 cases resolved.
1,800 deaths are reported to be from residents in long-term care homes while eight of the deaths are reported o be from healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
2,444,068 tests have been completed so far and 14,677 tests are still under investigation.
Right now, there are 60 people in hospital with the virus and 21 people currently in ICU. There are 12 people in ICU on a ventilator.
