When police located the man, they brought him into custody and laid two impaired driving charges against him.
THAMES CENTRE - A 39-year-old resident of Ancaster has been charged with impaired driving.
On September 3, at 3:20 a.m., the Middlesex OPP were dispatched to an address on Upper Queen Street in Thorndale for the report of a suspicious person. Police located the man, took him into custody and charged him with operation of a vehicle while impaired and with blood alcohol concentration surpassing 80 milligrams.
The accused has been released from police custody, but will appear in court at a later date.
The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the OPP or your nearest police authority immediately.
