The Province is reporting less than 100 cases for the third day in row. No deaths were reported today and the total number of cases in Ontario climbs to 40,367 with 36,689 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - There were 78 cases of COVID-19 reported in Ontario today.
There is an underestimation of the daily case count today due to updated data that was not available from the Toronto Public Health CORES system.
Today's numbers sees the provincial total climb to 40,367. 5,903 of the cases were reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes while 2,617 of the cases are reported to be from a health care worker associated to an outbreak.
The death toll in Ontario remains at 2,787 after there were no deaths reported today and there were 36,689 cases resolved. 1,800 of the deaths have come residents living in long-term care homes and only eight of the deaths have come from healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
To date, there have been 2,498,266 tests completed while 29,049 are currently under investigation.
Right now there are are 43 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 20 of the patients are in ICU and ten people in ICU are on a ventilator.
