Southwestern Public Health is reporting three more cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County today, seeing its total climb to 14 and Elgin and St.Thomas has 49 overall after two more cases were confirmed as well.
OXFORD/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - Five new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the Southwestern Public Health region today.
Norwich has two more cases and one more case was reported in Tillsonburg, bringing the total in Oxford County to 14.
Two more cases were also reported in Elgin and St.Thomas, seeing their total climb to 49.
To date, SWPH has had 158 cumulative cases with 89 resolved and five deaths. There have been three institutional outbreaks since the start of the pandemic and they have all been resolved. They say there was one recovery but it is not determined where it is located.
The health unit has tested 16,673 people so far and they have received 16,267 and 16,109 have come back negative.
