TAVISTOCK - The Tavistock Men's Club is hosting an all candidates meeting on Thursday night for East Zorra Tavistock.
President of the Men's Club Allan Calder says all of the candidates battling for seats will have time to present their case.
"So for people vying for positions, they will be allowed three minutes to present their platform and that will be for the Mayor position, the Deputy Mayor position and candidates for Ward 1."
Calder says the candidates will then answer questions from the audience. The candidates who have been acclaimed have also been invited to the event, however they will not answer questions from the audience to allow the candidates fighting for seats to have more time.
Running for Mayor is incumbent Don McKay and current Deputy Mayor and Mayoral candidate Maureen Ralph.
Running for Deputy Mayor is Don Edmiston and Shirley McCall-Hanlon.
Running for Ward 1 is Margaret Lupton, Thomas Murray and Phillip Schaefer.
The debate will take place on Thursday night at the Men's Club in Tavistock starting at 7:30 p.m.
