The Zonta Club of Woodstock is celebrating International Women's Day with an All Women Comedy Show.
WOODSTOCK - Ladies Night in Woodstock will feature an All Women's Comedy Show.
The Zonta Club of Woodstock is putting on the show in celebration of International Women's Day. Member Sheena Poole says the comedy show will feature six talented female comedians.
"This year we are continuing on with a new concept and that is doing a Theatre Night. This year we are doing a celebration to support women through comedy in an all women comedy show. So we have a group of women coming in from Kitchener Waterloo and they have a group out there called LOL, which is Ladies Out Loud and the LGBTQ2 group, so we have six comedians coming in to perform for us."
Poole says it promises to be a fun night out with the ladies.
"We are promoting this as a 19 plus event, we will have beer from Upper Thames Brewery and some wine available. I would call this a Ladies Night out because it is all female comedians and they kind of range on what they will be talking about."
The show is happening on March 7th at Theatre Woodstock. International Women's Day is the following day on March 8th.
You can purchase tickets for the show online here.
