OTTAWA - Arpan Khanna is now officially sworn in as the Member of Parliament for Oxford County.
The ceremony took place on Friday, and Khanna was surrounded by 50 Oxford County residents representing every community. He took the oath of office during a moving ceremony in the West Block on Parliament Hill. Below are the quotes made by Khanna during the ceremony.
"I am honoured and deeply humbled to be sworn in once again as the Member of Parliament for Oxford."
"This is not just my victory—it's a victory for my family and my team. This is Oxford's victory: a victory for every farmer, every auto worker, every entrepreneur, every family, and every young person who believes in the strength and potential of our region."
"My promise remains the same: to be a strong and tireless voice for our values, priorities, and future. I work for you, and I will continue to be your advocate in Ottawa."
Khanna was reappointed as the National Outreach Chair and named to the Conservative Party Leadership Team, which sees his role growing with the Party. He will be a part of shaping a national strategy and will be involved with community engagement for the Conservatives.
Khanna won the seat with over 38,000 votes in the election.
