An arson attempt has Norfolk County OPP investigating. A residence on Windham Centre Road was the target this morning, and it is the fourth time in 2023.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A suspicious fire investigation has been launched by Norfolk County OPP.
Officers responded to a residence on Windham Centre Road this morning at 2:30 a.m. after a report of a fire being set.
It was determined that unknown individuals went to the address and attempted to set fire to the side of the residence. Police also say that this is not the first time this address has been the target of arson.
Members of the Norfolk County OPP responded to three other reports of similar attempts this year taking place on Sunday, January 22nd, Monday, January 23rd, and Wednesday, March 22nd.
The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshall's Office is continuing to investigate this incident.
