A joint investigation resulted in two stolen ATVs being recovered in Norfolk County.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A stolen property investigation sees two ATVs recovered.
Yesterday, just before 10:35 a.m., officers from the Norfolk County OPP Preventing Auto Theft Unit and the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant. They searched a property on Goshen Road, located on the border of Norfolk and Oxford Counties.
Officers found two Honda ATVs, which were previously reported stolen, with one being taken from Norfolk County and the other stolen in Elgin County. As a result, a 37-year-old resident of Elgin County is facing two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
They will appear in Simcoe Court next month.
