WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are asking for the public's help after a possible sexual assault and a very awkward encounter in the Friendly City.
Police were called on Wednesday afternoon after a 42 old woman was pinched on the buttocks by a man riding a bicycle. Police say the man spotted the woman walking on a trail in the area of Lansdowne Ave and circled around to grab her behind.
He is described as white, clean shaven with dark hair, dark eyes and a slender build. He is about 18 to 20 years old and was wearing a burgundy hoody and a blue hat with white stripes.
Meanwhile another scary encounter happened to a 26 year old man walking on a trail in Roth Park near Rivercrest. Police say the man was stopped and propositioned by another man on the trail. The 26 year old tried to shrug it off and walked away, however the suspect followed him. He eventually stopped when the 26 year old called police.
Woodstock police are looking to speak with the suspect who is described as white, 5'10, average build, clean shaven with short brown hair and somewhere between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing glasses, a red spring jacket with "BENCH" on the collar and blue jeans.
