The Pete Lavoie Ball Diamonds Renovation Project was recently presented with a $10,000 cheque from Ayr Farmers Mutual.
PARIS - The Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company is going to support the Pete Lavoie Ball Diamonds Renovation Project.
They have selected the Ball Park as one of the projects the company will support for their 125th Anniversary celebration.
Representatives from the Lions Club of Paris and Paris Youth Softball Association were on hand last week to receive a $10,000 donation from the Board of Directors. Director of Parks and Facilities for the County of Brant Kathy Ballantyne says they are extremely grateful for the donation.
“The County of Brant wishes to express appreciation for supporting this project. It supports one of our key strategic priorities of improving infrastructure and ensuring our youth can participate actively in the community.”
The fundraising campaign for the Pete Lavoie Ball Diamonds is now 83% complete.
