Police are warning the public about a bad batch of purple Fentanyl that is circulating through Guelph.
GUELPH - Guelph OPP have issued a warning to citizens about a batch of purple Fentanyl that is being sold and consumed around the community.
Purple Fentanyl is said to be Fentanyl mixed with any other illegal drugs. In this case, police believe that the Fentanyl is being laced with heroin.
Guelph OPP say that they have already responded to two drug overdoses in the community, both of which they suspect purple Fentanyl was involved.
While police do not condone the possession, use, and distribution of illegal drugs, they do encourage current users to visit the Guelph Community Health Centre for support on rehabilitation.
