The Canadian Hurricane Centre says Ontario may take the hardest hit from Sandy when the big storm arrives in the next couple of days. Rainfall amounts are still hard to predict. But it could be anywhere from between 50-100mm. Southern and eastern Ontario could see high winds, although they'll likely be short of hurricane strength. A state of emergency is in effect in New Jersey, where the eye of the hurricane is expected to make landfall late Monday or early Tuesday. The storm is blamed for about 60 deaths in the Caribbean.
