The blood donor clinic at Goff Hall on Thursday will look a little different with COVID-19 protocols in place, including mandatory temperature checks.
WOODSTOCK - Canadian Blood Donor Services is having a blood donor clinic in Woodstock on Thursday June 4th at Goff Hall.
Territory Manager Jamie Reichman says they will not be having their normal blood donor clinics this summer.
"Usually we have two clinics in Woodstock a month, but unfortunately due to COVID-19 and physical distancing requirements and different issues surrounding the pandemic, we have had to cancel our clinics. Fortunately the Community Centres, specifically Goff Hall has agreed to have a clinic for us on Thursday June 4th. So we are asking members of the Woodstock community and surrounding areas who normally due so."
The clinic runs from 1:30 until 7:30 pm. Reichman says they will have a number of social distancing measures in place.
"We will have wellness stations implemented at all of the entrances of our mobile clinic. We will be asking you a series of COVID related questions that may defer you from being donated. You will also be asked to use hand sanitizer and we will do a mandatory temperature check. You will also be asked to use a mask and if you don't have one with you, we would be happy to supply you with one."
