Parents and tots are invited to a new pilot project at Cowan Park offered by the City of Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is offering a new pilot program for parents and tots at Cowan Park.
Supervisor of Recreation Programs, Grants and Sponsorship with the City of Woodstock Emma Vondervoort says it's a great program for parents with young kids.
"It's Monday through Friday from 10 am to 11 am and you can bring your 6 month to 3 year old child and we will provide equipment for them to play on the turf at Cowan Park."
Vondervoort says it's a great way to active this winter and you can drop in any day at Cowan Park.
"If you want to come one Tuesday to just try it out, you can do that, you can come a couple of days a week or just once a week, it is whatever works for your schedule, which is kind of nice."
The drop in program will run until the end of January and then they will see if they want to keep doing it. The drop in program costs $2.75 per child.
