Brant County is moving forward with a Household Hazardous Waste Day this year and it will be by appointment only because of COVID-19 restrictions.
BRANT COUNTY - The County of Brant is hosting a Household hazardous waste day in June.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, residents will be required to book an appointment first. It will take place on Saturday June 5, from 9 am to 4 pm at the Brant Public Works Yard.
Solid Waste/Wastewater Operations Manager Matt D'Hondt says they will have enhanced safety measures in place.
“Due to COVID-19, enhanced safety measures will be in place. To minimize lineups and for safety of staff and those attending, an appointment is required. As well, those who attend are required to unload their own material and masks must be worn onsite when outside of your vehicle.”
You can book an appointment online here or over the phone at 519-44BRANT (519-442-7268) or toll free at 1-855-44BRANT.
