A 29-year member of the OPP is charged with making an unsafe left turn just outside of Paris on June 26 this year.
Brant County OPP have charged one of their own after a crash in June sent that two drivers to hospital.
29-year member of the force, Inspector Dave Durant, is charged with Left Turn - fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision.
Police say an investigation found that on June 26, Durant's OPP cruiser was heading west on Dundas Street East and crashed into an eastbound Honda when trying to make a left turn onto Paris Road.
The investigation also says Durant's emergency equipment was activated at the time.
Durant will be in Brantford court on September 16.
