Two year-old Brooklyn was found safe and in good health Monday morning.
BRANT COUNTY -- Brant OPP have confirmed that 2 year-old Brooklyn Honderich is back safe with her family.
Officers from Brant, Oxford and Norfolk initiated a massive search Sunday night around 7:00 pm when Brooklyn wandered away from her property on Windham Line 19, east of Norwich.
Brant OPP Constable Larry Plummer says Brooklyn was located around 10:00 am in a corn field some distance from the family farm. "A volunteer located her as part of our organized search so it all worked out well."
The volunteer found Brooklyn on the edge of a corn field some distance from the family farm.
Officers, canine units, the OPP helicopter and a number of volunteers searched through fields and adjacent properties through the night and morning, frantically working to locate the toddler.
Plummer says "they took her to the hospital just as a precaution but it's all good."
Brooklyn is said to be in good health and has been reunited with her family.
OPP say over 200 volunteers arrived to assist police and fire fighters with the search efforts.
