A concerning weekend of alleged behaviour on the roads in Woodstock
Woodstock Police are reminding people to plan ahead for a cab ride or designated driver.
This after some recent incidents of drivers disobeying the law.
During a RIDE check on Friday night, a 33-year-old Tillsonburg man was found to be driving while suspended.
On Saturday at 2:40AM, police stopped a vehicle on Peel St. in Woodstock. The driver, a 26-year-old man had been drinking. His license was suspended for three days.
A female driver faced a similar suspension after she was pulled over Monday afternoon at 1PM in Woodstock.
And at 3AM Saturday, police pulled over a vehicle on Devonshire. Police say the driver had been drinking, and was taken back to police headquarters for testing. 22-year-old Matthew Lawrence of Princeton was charged with resisting arrest and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol.
