May 1st signals the opening of the 2026 camping season, and Pittock Conservation Area is open for guests.
WOODSTOCK - Camping season has opened for three Conservation Areas, one of which is in Oxford County.
The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority's Fashawe site in London, Wildwood grounds in St. Mary's and Pittock in Woodstock are open as of today. There is a new trail at Pittock this season, which runs until October 18th.
Pittock Conservation Area has 240 campsites, including backcountry camping. Visitors can take part in a wide range of outdoor adventures. They can also take part in a rental program that allows them to borrow canoes, kayaks and other sports equipment.
