The virtual show goes from September 15th to 18th and it will feature unique programming like plot crop tours, equipment demonstrations and more.
WOODSTOCK - Canada's Outdoor Farm Show is going virtual this year.
Normally the show brings in thousands of visitors to the Friendly City every year, providing a nice little boost to the local economy. Unfortunately thanks to COVID-19 that is not going to be possible in 2020.
President Doug Wagner says Canada’s Digital Farm Show will, in true outdoor farm show fashion, deliver interactive content from the field, giving participants a unique vantage point to see equipment and agricultural technology in a way they have not been able to before.
“Farming is essential to the world and learning about new farming innovation and technology is essential to farmers. The cancellation of all these events due to the COVID-19 pandemic leaves a gap in farmers learning about the latest research, seeing new products in the market and hearing about what their peers have been up to on their farms. So, we’ve rolled up our sleeves to find a solution.”
The virtual show will have unique programming like crop plot tours, equipment demonstrations, dairy and livestock automation, an Exhibitor Showcase featuring hundreds of agricultural companies and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to live-chat with representatives from participating companies, take advantage of show specials and gain entries to the Flip & Win with Farmtario contest, presented in partnership with Canada’s Digital Farm Show and New Holland.
A compelling element of the programming will be a digitally delivered Innovations Showcase series. The Showcase, now in its third year, provides an easy way for farmers to find the newest inventions and innovations out there. In honour of the show going digital, a new category has been added this year for Digital Innovations.
Canada’s Digital Farm Show will run September 15 - 18, 2020 and be free for farmers to participate. Pre-register here for a new Flip & Win with Farmtario bonus code.
