Norfolk OPP are searching for a suspect responsible for stealing a cell phone from a business in Delhi, asking the public for assistance.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Police are seeking assistance in identifying an individual responsible for stealing an employee's cell phone from a business in Delhi.
At approximately 6:56 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a theft at an address on James Street in Delhi, Norfolk County.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., an employee inadvertently left a purple iPhone on a table in the dining area of a business. An unidentified customer then took the phone, concealed it on their person, and left the area after placing an order.
The customer was described as a caucasian male, approximately 50-60 years old, and was last seen wearing a brown jacket, a brown hooded sweater, dark pants, as well as a Toronto Maple Leafs hat.
Members of the Norfolk County OPP Detachment are actively conducting an ongoing investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance.
