A 24 year old is charged with numerous offences, including impaired driving, after their vehicle came into contact with the center median in the eastbound lanes on Hwy#401.
OXFORD COUNTY - OPP got a report of a single vehicle crash on Friday on Hwy#401 in South-West Oxford Township.
Police say around 11:55 p.m., the vehicle came into contact with the center median in the eastbound lanes. The driver was not injured.
As a result, 24 year old Tyler Kirkpatrick was charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired
- Failure or Refusal to Comply With Demand
- Mischief x 2
- Driving Motor Vehicle With Liquor Readily Available
- Fail to Surrender Insurance Card
Kirkpatrick is scheduled to appear in Woodstock court at a later date.
