WPS have upgraded the charges against a 26 year old from Drumbo to manslaughter after a hit and run at a gas station last month.
DRUMBO - Woodstock Police have upgraded the charges to manslaughter after a fatal hit and run in Woodstock last month.
A 66 year old man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries after he was hit by a vehicle, attempting to flee a gas station without paying on April 24th of this year. The crash happened around 9:00 pm at a gas station on Highway 2. The 66 year old has since succumbed to his injuries.
26 year old Brandon Harmer of Drumbo has had his charges upgraded to manslaughter, fail to remain at the scene of an accident causing death and theft under $5,000.
A 22 year old female passenger in the vehicle has also been charged with theft under $5,000.
