Around noon on Christmas Day the Woodstock Fire Department was called to a fire in the basement of a local residence.
WOODSTOCK - Local homeowners holiday spirits were dampened on Christmas Day when Woodstock Fire extinguished a basement fire on at a residence on Tennyson Street. The owner's festivities were interrupted when they noticed smoke coming from their basement. Woodstock Police, Fire and EMS all responded to the 911 call reporting the fire. The occupants escaped without injuries.
