The City of Woodstock has brought in an extra bus this year for the annual Christmas Lights Tour.
WOODSTOCK - Tickets are on sale now for the Woodstock Christmas Lights Tour.
Back by popular demand the Tour of Lights will have 2 buses running this year. The Tour of Lights gives a chance for residents to check out Christmas lights all around the Friendly City. Lisa Lama is the Administrative Assistant to the Economic Development Office and has more on the meaning behind the event.
"Its a great way for people to get out and see Woodstock, and see the beautiful lights that people have put out for everyone to see."
Lama had this to say about the tour's popularity.
"The popularity itself and the fact that we sell out in almost an hour usually tells how well the event goes over. So it's been extremely popular in previous years."
With limited seats available tickets must be bought soon and redeemed for the night purchased for. Tickets are $2.50 and available at the Woodstock City Hall and the Southside Aquatic Centre. The event takes place on December 10th and 15th with both buses leaving the transit terminal at 7 p.m.
All proceeds are going to the United Way of Oxford. Canned goods and non perishable items are welcome.
