An estimated 400 people attended an outdoor service at the Church of God on Sunday.
AYLMER - Hundreds of people attended an outdoor service from the Church of God on Sunday.
The doors to the church were pad locked on Friday after a decision from Ontario Superior Court Justice Bruce Thomas. The church was also issued several fined $35,000 and ordered to pay back court costs of $69,000. Controversial pastor Henry Hildebrandt has been fined $10,000 and Assistant Pastor Peter Wall $3,000.
The Church service was held outdoors and featured the preaching of pastor Hildebrandt, along with music and singing.
Aylmer Police watched the service from a distance and gathered footage and an investigation is ongoing. Police estimate around 200 vehicles and 400 people attended the outdoor service at 751 John St. North.
Additional charges against the church and active participants are pending.
