The City of Woodstock is spending $38,000 in order to repair the liner for Lions Pool.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is going to repair the liner for Lions Pool.
The hope is the outdoor pool will be open to the public in step one of the reopening plan the week of June 14th.
Mayor Trevor Birtch says they wanted to get this work in now.
"We have some work to do on the pool liner, so council approved from our reserve to capital projects to do that liner and look for a qualified contract that can do the work within our budget parameters and get it done as soon as possible. We want to get that work done now so the pool is ready for the summer season, just like last year."
The City has budgeted $38,000 for the project.
