The Coldest Night of the Year raised over $12-million nationwide. Woodstock ranked in seventh place with over $175,000 raised for Operation Sharing.
WOODSTOCK - It was a very successful Coldest Night of the Year for the Friendly City.
Lots of people hit the streets of downtown Woodstock on Saturday in support of Operation Sharing
Woodstock had raised over $175,600 as of this morning, which is the seventh-highest fundraising total across Canada. A total of 182 locations across the country raised over $12-million for charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
Seventy-seven teams registered for the Woodstock event with over 400 walkers and 34 registered volunteers.
