The Kiwansis Club of Ingersoll will be handing out winter clothes from their annual coats for families campaign this week at the Trinity United Church.
INGERSOLL - The Kiwansis Club of Ingersoll is getting set to hand out winter clothing to local families in need.
This is the program's 10th straight year. If you want to donate any winter clothing you may have you may visit the Trinity United Church or the Young's Pharmacy as they will be handling the donated clothes. President of the Kiwansis Club, Dick Graham says the success is to contribute to the 10 years the program has been alive.
"We have a number of people that bring in clothing and some people will go and shop for clothes to bring in. Kiwanians have donated them. People who have donated in the past continue to donate."
Graham says the program has gone under a new name.
"It was originally coats for kids and we've changed it, its now Coats for Families so now that allows us to have a full range of clothing. That means right from the little ones up to adults and everyone's appreciative no matter what the age is."
