The Dirty Dishes and the Plate Rails Trio are coming to Woodstock to help support Ingamo Homes.
WOODSTOCK - Ingamo Homes is bringing the Dirty Dishes and the Plate Rails Trio to Woodstock.
Tickets are on sale for the fundraiser concert happening this Thursday at Goff Hall. Executive Director of Ingamo Diane Harris says it promises to a be a fun night.
"Dirty Dishes and the Plate Rails are sort of a kick in the pants, harmony roots trio and they consist of a lot of different harmonies, washboard fiddle, guitar, sassy songwriting and killer charm."
Proceeds from the show will go towards Ingamo homes.
"Ingamo Homes is a non profit organization that has been providing safe housing, counselling and support for women and children who have left violence since 1989. We provide counselling that is specific to women in our program which includes one to one therapeutic support and trauma informed group work. All of the proceeds go towards those programs for woman and children because they are not funded by any government, we fundraise and look for donations to support part of the program."
Tickets cost $30 beforehand or $35 dollars at the door and doors open at 6:30 pm on Thursday night at Goff Hall. You can buy tickets at Merrifield Book Store in Woodstock, Patina's Gifts in Ingersoll or by calling Diane at 519-421-0383 ext 224.
